Firefighters battle house blaze through the night in Ipswich
Emergency crews worked from just after midnight until dawn, tackling a house fire on Fletcher Road, using specialist equipment to extinguish the flames.
The details: Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service received the call at 12:02am on Wednesday, 2 July, with five fire engines dispatched to the scene from three stations.
The fire was located in a first-floor bedroom of the semi-detached property, measuring approximately 2 meters by 6 meters. Firefighters used six breathing apparatus sets and two hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.
The incident was officially stopped at 02:23, but crews remained on scene conducting hot-spotting operations until 07:17 to prevent rekindling.
