Event details

Description

This Christmas, audiences will be transported into a world of wonder and whimsy as Red Rose Chain presents their enchanting production of Pinocchio, adapted by Joanna Carrick.

Running from 13 December to 5 January, this magical tale follows the misadventures of everyone's favourite puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy.

A timeless story reimagined

When lonely carpenter Gepetto crafts a puppet from a mysteriously chatty piece of wood, he never imagines his creation will spring to life. But that's exactly what happens, marking the beginning of an extraordinary journey filled with valuable life lessons.

What to expect

This festive production promises:

  • A host of colourful characters

  • Toe-tapping musical numbers

  • Plenty of audience interaction

  • Important messages about honesty and growing up

  • The perfect family Christmas entertainment

Theatre-goers are encouraged to book early for what promises to be a highlight of Ipswich's festive calendar. The Avenue Theatre provides an intimate setting perfect for this magical production.
