# Dragon boats set to make a splash on Ipswich Waterfront in less than three weeks

**The big picture:** Teams will battle it out on the water in colourful dragon boats, each with 10 paddlers and one drummer, while spectators enjoy a day of entertainment along Ipswich Waterfront.

**What's happening:** The race begins at 10:00 on Saturday, 7 June, transforming the waterfront into a vibrant festival with live music, performances, street food and games.
