Part of the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors
FareShare East Anglia operates from its base in Ipswich and covers a wide geographical area. Their mission is to prevent good food from going to waste by redistributing it to charities and community groups across East Anglia.
Last year, they distributed 685 tonnes of surplus food to 141 charity members—enough to provide 1.6 million meals to people at risk of hunger.
To handle increased demand, they recently moved to larger premises in Ipswich. Here, they handle fresh, frozen, chilled, and ambient food, including bulk catering packs.
They operate a delivery service, or, if preferred, collections can be made from their Ipswich warehouse.
If your organisation or project supports vulnerable people in your community and is a charity, not-for-profit organisation, community group, or social enterprise that requires support, please register interest online, and they'll contact you.
