**Why it matters:** The funds will help provide extras for patients and staff at [ESNEFT](https://www.ipswich.co.uk/tag/esneft/) that go beyond what the NHS can offer.

**The big picture:** Participants completed 1km or 5km routes while being showered in coloured powder paint. The event attracted both grateful patients and local businesses showing their support.

**Key details:**

- Emma Everett, 44, and her daughter Kacie, 17, raised over £700 in recognition of Emma's care at Ipswich Hospital's Ear, Nose and Throat Department.
- OCS, a local business, sponsored the event and had employees participate and volunteer.
- Charitable donations and support from OCS UK & Ireland partially funded the event.
