Watch Traitors finale live screening at The Church, Ipswich

Fans of The Traitors can watch a free live screening of the hit BBC series finale on a big screen at The Church in Ipswich on Friday, 23 January.

Why it matters: The screening offers followers of the hit BBC show a chance to experience the finale with fellow fans rather than watching alone at home, following the success of last year's event which attracted around 50 people to the St Stephen's Lane venue.

The details: The event starts at 18:00 and will show the latest episode as build-up ahead of the final episode screened live from 20:30.

Entry is free but restricted to ages 14 and over. Young people aged 14 to 17 must be accompanied by someone over 18.

The Church is located in St Stephen's Lane opposite The Buttermarket Centre and is managed by Brighten the Corners, which also operates The Smokehouse and The Baths. A bar will be available at the venue.

What they're saying: "The Church is a unique setting, so bringing fans of the show together to watch on a big screen here is a great way to enjoy the drama, suspense and intrigue," said Lee Walker , CEO of Ipswich Central .

Joe Bailey , CEO of Brighten the Corners, added: "We're delighted to again be hosting this free event at The Church for people to come and enjoy The Traitors 2026 series penultimate and final episodes, so come along with friends and family, grab a drink at the bar and watch The Traitors final together with fellow fans."

For context: The show has gained in popularity thanks to a celebrity version won by comedian Alan Carr in autumn 2025. The current series launched on New Year's Day with a record-breaking 6.9 million viewers watching the first episode, surpassing all previous premieres including the celebrity version.

The bottom line: The free screening offers Traitors fans a chance to watch the finale in an atmospheric venue rather than at home, with the event open to ages 14 and over on Friday, 23 January from 18:00.
