Police search for missing 78-year-old woman from Rushmere St Andrew

Christine Murton, 78, has been missing since mid-morning on Wednesday, 12 November, after leaving her home in Rushmere St Andrew, prompting an appeal from Suffolk Police.

The details: Christine was reported missing on Wednesday evening after she left her house mid-morning.

  • She is described as white, approximately 5ft 7in tall, of slim build, with short dark hair.

  • She was last seen wearing a purple jacket, blue trousers and carrying a large shoulder bag. She also wears glasses.

  • Police believe Christine may have travelled on foot or via public transport.

  • She also owns a blue Toyota Yaris with the registration AV14 JKF, which officers are working to locate.

What to do if you have information: Anyone who has seen Christine or knows where she is should contact Suffolk Police immediately, quoting CAD 257 of 12 November.
