Missing Ipswich man Adam Ferguson found safe after five weeks

Adam Ferguson, 44, who disappeared from the Turret Lane area on 28 August, has been located safe and well by police this morning.

Why it matters: The discovery brings to an end a five-week search for Mr Ferguson, who was last seen on the morning of Thursday, 28 August in Ipswich.

The details: Police confirmed that Mr Ferguson was found safe on Monday, 6 October. Officers had previously issued appeals for information about his whereabouts, including releasing an updated photograph, amid concerns for his welfare.

The bottom line: Suffolk Police have thanked members of the public and media for their assistance with the appeal.
