Why it matters: The partnership will help the school continue to develop high-performing teams and support pupils in reaching their full potential, both on and off the field.

The details: Brooks Macdonald will sponsor new sports kit for students at Ipswich School , whilst the school has also become one of Grays International's global flagship schools, who will provide the kit for all four focus sports.

Ipswich School pupils have excelled across multiple sports in recent years, including:

  • Back-to-back National T20 titles for the U14 girls' cricket team

  • National Championship success for the U18 girls' hockey team

  • Regional finals for the U16 and U19 netball teams

  • National Cup semi-finals for the U15 boys' rugby squad

  • Ninth ranking in the UK for rugby programme

  • 18th ranking nationally for overall school sport

What they're saying: Bradley and Bea, captains of the rugby and girls' hockey teams, said: "We're very proud to have Brooks Macdonald supporting us. The new kit looks fantastic and really inspires us to perform our best every game."

Katherine Jones, chief financial officer at Brooks Macdonald, said: "Brooks Macdonald is very proud to become the sponsor of the new sports kit for students at Ipswich School, long recognised for its excellence in academics and sports."

She added: "As a leading wealth management firm delivering quality, trusted financial advice in towns and cities throughout the UK since 1991, Brooks Macdonald shares with Ipswich School a commitment to integrity, trust, high standards and performance."

Nick Gregory , head of Ipswich School, said: "Partnering with an organisation of the calibre of Brooks Macdonald signals just how highly respected and widely recognised, at regional, national and international level, our pupils' recent achievements have been across our four 'focus sports': cricket, hockey, netball and rugby. We are extremely grateful to Brooks Macdonald for their trust, for their belief in Ipswich School Sport, and for their generous support."

The bottom line: The sponsorship recognises Ipswich School's sporting achievements and will provide top-quality kit for years to come.
