Karen Finch, Audiologist and Co-Director at All About Hearing, has received national recognition for her contribution to audiology.

The details: The Ipswich-based audiologist was honoured at the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists' (BSHAA) 70th anniversary event in London for her service as president from 2004 to 2006, during which she played a pivotal role in promoting professional standards, advancing education and raising public awareness of hearing health.

What she's saying: "It's an incredible honour to be recognised by the BSHAA, especially as the organisation celebrates such an important milestone," said Karen .

"Serving as president gave me the opportunity to work alongside so many dedicated professionals who share the same goal, to ensure people across the UK receive the very best in hearing care. I'm proud to see how far our profession has come and excited for what the future holds."

For context: All About Hearing  provides independent hearing care across Suffolk, with two clinics in Ipswich and additional locations in Woolpit, Woodbridge, and Framlingham. Karen, who remains a BSHAA member, continues to lead clinical practice and innovation at the family-run firm.

The bottom line: Two decades after her presidency, Karen's dedication to advancing hearing care standards continues to be recognised, demonstrating the lasting impact of her work on the audiology profession.
