Why it matters: Dowsing will be working in the Private Client department, supporting individuals and families with wills, estate administration and lasting powers of attorney.

The details: Dowsing joined the firm as a Trainee Solicitor in 2024. As part of her training contract, she worked across a variety of the firm's specialist departments. The bigger picture: Ellisons ' Private Client department advises on all aspects of wills, court of protection, power of attorney, trusts and estate planning, working with clients to help them make informed decisions about their future.

What they're saying: Nicola Weldon , Partner and Head of the Private Client team, said: "We're thrilled to welcome Simone to the team as a qualified Solicitor. Her dedication and clear passion for private client work make her a valuable addition. It is an exciting time of growth within the team and Simone's arrival will help us to continue delivering a high-quality, personal service to our clients."

Dowsing added: "Qualifying into the Private Client team at Ellisons is an exciting next step in my legal career. I'm looking forward to supporting clients across Suffolk with their personal legal matters, and to working closely with the rest of the team to continue delivering and enhancing the high standard of service the firm is known for."
