Drivers warned to avoid A14 after serious collision

Motorists are being advised to find alternative routes following a serious crash that has closed the westbound A14 between Stowmarket and Haughley.

Emergency services are at the scene of the collision between a car and an HGV, which occurred at 23:41 on Thursday, 20 February.

The westbound carriageway is closed between junction 50 (Stowmarket) and junction 49 (Haughley) and is expected to remain shut for several hours.
